Here at CWMF, we provide a home and school for orphans and vulnerable children in Wangige, Kenya. The first CWMF orphanage home opened doors on January 10, 2005 in Wangige, Kenya on a 3½ -acre property with a four bedroom house donated by the Mungai family.
Our growth and progress since we opened our doors has been amazing.The donated land has been developed into a Nursery through Standard 8 school with residential facilities for the orphaned children.
To sponsor charitable activities that empower and equip disadvantaged children and youth to reach their destiny.
To make lives of our children meaningful and bearable. Several projects have been undertaken to provide various services.
At CWMF we need all the help we can get, volunteering is a great way for you to brighten the lives of our children.
Local community outreach missions are encouraged to provide assortment of foods (rice, flour, vegetables, etc) as well as provision of clothes, shoes and other personal needs. Cash donations are also welcome.
Medical volunteers are encouraged to screen the children, provide dental care and other medical needs.
Donations of text books and school stationeries (exercise books, pens and pencils, etc).
We would like assistance in the Completion of classrooms Completion of third floor of dormitory.
You can volunteer in the United States by helping us raise funds or helping us organize one or more of our many events or You can also make a trip to our orphanage in Wangige at any time during the year. To make arrangements, please email George Mungai at [email protected]
Donations are needed for the day-to-day running of the bus, i.e fuel and maintenance etc.

I was born at Githunguri in a small village. We lived at my grandmother’s place due to some reasons. My mother later gave birth to my small sister. My mother just stayed for a few days then later died. One day after my mother passed, my little sister died....
I was born around 2000 at a far distance near Githunguri. We were about 5 of us and lived with our mother. Our grandfather provided us with our needs and he paid the school fees for us until some of my brothers finished their primary courses....
I was born in Githunguri near Limuru. I did not know who my father was neither had I ever seen him. After the death of my my mother at a tender age of about 3 years, I was taken to live with my grandmother. It was not long after that my grandmother’s friend took me....
